Review by hotel critic
Staying at 25Hours Hotel Altes Hafenamt was a fantastic experience, seamlessly blending style and comfort. Nestled close to the Port of Hamburg, I found it to be the ideal launchpad for exploring the city's vibrant attractions, including the wonderful Elbphilharmonie and Maritime Museum, all just a leisurely stroll away. The breakfast buffet was a delightful surprise, featuring everything from traditional eggs and sausages to exotic baba ganoush and refreshing bircher muesli; it truly set the tone for our daily adventures. The atmosphere felt boutique yet homely, full of charming details and warmed by the friendly reception staff who addressed us warmly, creating that cozy, informal vibe I love in travel settings. After a day of exploration, unwinding at the Boilerman Bar for a cocktail with a view was the cherry on top, perfectly capturing the local spirit. If you find yourself in Hamburg, don't miss this gem!
